Remember when you last raced at Osky???

It seems like ages ago, April 16 to be exact, that there was any racing at the Southern Iowa Speedway. Sunshine and 90 degrees is making sure that the rainout streak ends today. In case you forgot, the last time races were held, the Sprint Invaders were in the house, seeing a win by Austin McCarl after the post-race inspections cleared. Mike Hughes topped the IMCA hobby stocks, while Zack VanderBeek raced to the front in the IMCA stock cars. In the modifieds, Brett Lowry took the checkered in the IMCA sportmods, while Todd Shute was the IMCA modified feature winner.
Tonight, there are no sprint cars, but IMCA late models and sport compacts are added to the card. It definitely feels like summer, so get out and enjoy it!  Below are some pictures from that long ago April 16 courtesy of Conrad Nelson.
